Water cooling heavy duty laser welding machine resolves issues inherent in traditional laser welding for thick plates, such as insufficient penetration depth and poor stability during continuous operation, thereby achieving high-quality weld results.
This machine incorporates a custom GW anti-high-reflectivity chip laser and French Schneider electrical control system, featuring multiple isolation protections to effectively reduce equipment damage and extend service life. Its turbine-worm gear four-wheel-drive stepper wire feeding assembly supports seamless switching between single-wire, dual-wire, and triple-wire welding modes. It has precise and stable wire feeding with automatic straightening, provide smooth, efficient, and high-quality welding.

The Kempson dedicated water-cooled heavy-duty laser welding machine centres on an intelligent laser welding system. Utilising high-energy lasers and precision control technology, it achieves efficient and stable welding of thick plate materials, meeting the demands of high-power, prolonged continuous operation.
The equipment employs a high-performance laser to generate a high-energy beam, with an intelligent control system precisely regulating laser power, frequency, and welding parameters. The laser is transmitted via fibre optic cable to the welding torch. During welding, the highly concentrated laser energy instantly melts the base material and filler wire, forming a dense, robust weld seam under inert gas protection. This effectively minimises welding distortion and oxidation risks.
The device incorporates an efficient water-cooled heat dissipation system featuring a closed-loop circulation circuit. Coolant flows within this sealed circuit, absorbing heat from the laser core before undergoing heat exchange via a water chiller. A powerful fan expels the heat, allowing the cooled liquid to recirculate for repeated operation.
The Kempson Black Gold laser welding gun, developed in-house, features reusable protective lenses alongside dedicated anti-spatter nozzles and barrels. Equipped with a dual-protection mechanism incorporating high-temperature alarms, reduces the frequency of consumable replacements and costs.
In contrast, competing products employ low-cost welding gun solutions where protective lenses wear easily and have a short lifespan, necessitating frequent replacements.

The device measures 0.7×1.1×1.3 metres, integrating a high-power laser with an efficient water-cooling system. Requiring no additional equipment, it occupies minimal floor space, facilitating workshop layout and mobile deployment. It is well-suited for continuous production environments involving thick-plate heavy-duty welding. Check out the dimension diagram below for a detailed view of its size and layout.
