Kempsen’s medium-to-thin sheet metal air laser welding machine is a high speed laser welding machine that overcomes the limitations of relying on an external gas source. Equipped with a high-precision gas generator and a high-purity inert shielding gas control system, it independently produces gas to reduce operating costs. Featuring a GW fiber laser and a multi-swirl anti-spatter black gold welding gun, it is perfectly suited for high speed laser welding of materials ranging from 0.5 mm to 10 mm in thickness. Standard equipped with a precision stepper wire feeder, it supports up to three-wire stacking for deep weld penetration and single-side welding with double-sided formation. It is the ideal choice for cost-effectiveness and eco-friendly energy savings.

During laser welding, welding speed is a very important process parameter. High speed laser welding determines processing efficiency and directly affects the forming quality of the weld and the physical properties of the workpiece. The impact of welding speed on the product includes:
| Comparison Dimension | High Speed Laser Welding | Conventional Welding |
| Welding Speed | Extremely fast (typically several meters per minute, significantly shortening the processing cycle) | Slower (limited by manual operation or arc stability, resulting in lower efficiency) |
| Heat-Affected Zone | Extremely small with minimal heat input; workpieces show virtually no deformation or warping | Larger with higher heat accumulation; thin sheets are prone to deformation, sagging, or burn-through |
| Weld Bead Formation | Smooth and aesthetically pleasing; formed in a single pass without the need for post-polishing or cleaning | Wider weld beads with a rough surface, usually requiring polishing and pickling treatments |
| Operator Requirements | Low skill threshold; easy to master when paired with automation or automatic wire-feeding systems | Highly dependent on the welder’s technical proficiency, requiring extensive training |
| Application Scenarios | Suitable for high-efficiency and high-aesthetics processing of thin to medium-thickness sheets | Suitable for structural components and large-scale welding of ultra-thick plates |

An air laser welding machine uses a built-in high-precision gas generator that utilizes ambient air as a raw material. Through a multi-stage vortex separation and filtration technology, it independently produces 99.99% pure argon-nitrogen inert shielding gas. This eliminates the need to purchase and replace external gas cylinders, significantly reducing production costs.
Yes, it does. Utilizing a high-energy-density laser beam, the machine enables highly efficient high speed laser welding, producing smooth and even welds. This eliminates the need for secondary polishing and significantly shortens the production cycle.
The 3000W air laser welding machine is equipped with an in-house developed stepper four-wheel wire feeder. It supports flexible switching between single, dual, and triple wire modes, features a wire straightening function, and supports wire stacking to achieve an 8 mm wide weld bead with deep penetration.
Yes. The entire series is equipped with high-capacity Teyu industrial chillers (ranging from 4200W to 7500W) and hollow-out cooling ducts, ensuring stable, 24-hour continuous operation without thermal degradation.
Extremely low. The equipment features a multi-swirl anti-spatter black gold laser welding gun with a high-temperature resistant, anti-spatter nozzle. Furthermore, the protective lenses are reusable, effectively reducing the frequency and cost of consumable replacements.
It is very easy to operate. The machine features an intuitive LCD control panel with physical buttons, supports one-touch parameter saving and calling, and integrates APP remote control with automatic wire feeding. Operators can get started quickly with simple guidance.
